Colon cleansing is one of the most
important steps (and overlooked) when attempting to lose weight, shape the body,
flatten the waistline, correct the digestive and eliminative systems, relieve
certain health problems, and achieve optimum health. Colon cleansing can also
help to jumpstart weight-loss programs and keep you on track when you reach
difficult plateau periods. One of the most important and immediate benefits
from the regular, cleansing bowel movements you will experience from colon
cleansing is that your daily weight loss will be accelerated.

JANUARY!
Weight-loss month
in particular. It is now estimated that over 61% of Americans are overweight.
The obesity epidemic is spreading rapidly. If you want to lose weight fast and
want a quick fix, well, it takes a combination of exercise, diet and fat
burners, plain and simple.
Stay Healthy!
has fat-loss supplements that work, but only with a solid nutrition and exercise
program. Our fat-loss kit includes meal replacement powders, nutrition bars, and
fat burners. Ephedra is not an option anymore, so manufacturers now have a new
category of fat loss products called non-ephedra thermogenics. You will see in
this fat-loss class ingredients like 7-keto DHEA, which does not convert into
the sex steroids (testosterones and estrogens) but has the benefits of DHEA
(increased energy, sex drive, and fat loss without any unwanted side effects).
7-keto DHEA increase levels of the thyroid hormone T3, which can lead to an
increased metabolism and greater fat burning. Here are some more of the top fat
burning nutrients available today: caffeine in the herbal forms guarana and kola
nut, bitter orange, green tea extract, coleus forskohlii, cayenne pepper powder,
guggulsterone, l-carnitine, and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). These are all
effective fat-burning products, and when combined with diet and exercise, will
lead to permanent weight loss. Call us at 877-2494 or stop in at

Jenny's Jive: We live in a
time & place where being overweight is an epidemic. Your metabolism- (how your
body converts food into energy & then burns that energy as calories) slows down
as we get older. Fewer calories are burned & more are stored as fat. As we age
we tend to lose muscle & gain fat. Since muscle burns a lot of energy, our
energy needs diminish as we lose muscle & our metabolism slows. Eating large
amounts of refined sugars can upset the metabolic balance. Refined sugars lack
the vitamins & minerals required for their own metabolism & must draw on our
body’s reserves of these nutrients. Another pound-packing issue is refined
“empty-calorie” foods likely to cause us to gain fat and over-eat. By the time
we’ve filled up on these concentrated calories, fiber-poor foods, we’ve eaten
more calories than we need. The excess turns to fat. There’s hope! Your
metabolic rate isn’t completely beyond your control. Aerobic exercise & strength
training are good ways to combat the overweight issues that plague us today.
Another suggestion for losing weight & maintaining high metabolism levels is to
look at our eating habits. One writer suggests that the difference between
being slim & overweight is this: some people eat only when hungry, eat whenever
they like, & stop when the hunger subsides. Overweight people constantly think
about food & dieting, eat whenever they see food, & stop eating only when all
the food is gone.
Jeff’s Positive
Vibrations:
Being
overweight is one of our nation’s biggest health concerns, and along with heart
disease and stress cause many unwanted health problems. Our fast-paced
lifestyles and our artificial eating habits have caused us to become overweight
and out of shape, giving us all kinds of health problems. If you are to have the
perfect body, you must educate yourself and know all the full ramifications of
putting the wrong kinds of food into your body. The first step towards a
slender, healthy body, is a house cleaning. By that I mean a colon cleanse. The
colon is our sewer system and requires regular cleansings. Not cleansing the
colon is like having every garbage collector go on strike. The accumulation of
garbage in your body creates putrid, unhealthy waste and gases, that spreading
poison. In conclusion, more and more people are becoming health conscious, but
the nutritional needs of the body must not be neglected, otherwise the body will
break down, like a racehorse that has been overworked.

Speaking Words of Wisdom
When it comes to
controlling weight loss, motivation leads the way. Only a proper weight
management program will lead to long-term success. Try not to think of it as a
diet but a new healthy lifestyle. Be very specific with your desired outcome and
set goals. A journal will be key to following your plan and seeing your
progress. Make up affirmations to motivate yourself, such as “I will do what it
takes to be lean and healthy” etc., and repeat it daily first thing in the
morning and before bed. I also would recommend hanging pictures up that inspire
you, like someone in good shape working out. Visualization is very powerful when
it comes to programming your mind/body connection in order to make physical
changes. Taking it slow is better then trying to fast once a week or extreme
dieting. A natural whole food balanced diet is better then any new fad diet.
Greens can be very beneficial for building the blood and balancing the blood
sugar levels, and can help control food cravings. Try one of our store favorites
“5GREENEST” for a good boost of natural energy. Herbs can also be very helpful
to increase the thermogenic (fat burning) properties of the body, herbs like
cayenne, ginger, green tea, etc. Have questions, we’ve got answers. Happy New
Year!

Nik Notes: There
are methods of losing weight that are healthy, such as dietary changes and
exercise. In contrast some methods can harm you as you lose weight. Diet pills
that have stimulants can be damaging or even addictive if taken continua0lly for
longer than they should be. Do not take any diet pill everyday! Stimulants
increase metabolism by raising your blood pressure and circulation. This
practice leads to adrenal fatigue and slowing of the metabolism as the body
becomes unable to provide its own energy.
