Words from us…
Wayne’s World
Tis
the season to be... STRESSED! Stress and anxiety are with us all year long, but
the holiday season can
be even more intense. Hustle, bustle, worry, frantic emotions and now
global conditions compound the problem. You need to be aware that stress can
significantly impact your health and make you sick.
Researchers have discovered the link between stress and health –
interleukin-6 (IL-6). IL-6 is a proinflammatory cytokine (small protein released
by cells) that directly affects the behavior of other cells in the body. It is
associated with many diseases and is directly linked to cardiovascular disease
and involved with the pathogenesis of diabetes. Studies have shown that negative
emotions such as anxiety, stress, and depression can promote the production of
IL-6 and can lead to greater risk of infection and slowed wound healing. The
good news is you can minimize the impact stress has on your health by
exercising, stopping smoking, getting good sleep, keeping properly hydrated,
taking deep breaths, relaxing, and showing love for yourself and others by
social networking with family and friends. These actions help cope with your
stressors and can lower IL-6 levels. They are not always easy to do, but well
worth it. How about supplementation? Start using a quality multiple vitamin and
B-complex formula carried at
Stay Healthy! that truly helps your nervous system and gives you energy.
Essential Fatty Acids are vital as mood stabilizers and for depression, such as
the DHA fraction of fish oil. Also inquire about GABA and SAMe, herbs, amino
acids, and minerals used as natural anti-depressants. James Sloane is back on
the Lou Epton show on most Mondays now, and is available on Mondays, after the
show, at
Stay Healthy! from noon till 7 pm. LOVE is particularly warranted now on
our planet earth. Enjoy this wonderful holiday season and
Stay Healthy!
Thank you so much for your patronage.

Jive: Stress
is the number one epidemic that plagues our society today. Sadly, many of us
do not know how to manage & deal with the stressors in our lives. There are
numerous supplements & herbs one can take to cope with the daily stress. Some
of which are L-Theanine, 5-HTP, kava kava (if no kidney, liver, or heart
conditions), rhodiola, schisandra, chaparral, holy basil, & St. john’s wort,
to mention a few. Supplements & herbs do help with stress, but the most
effective stress relievers are lifestyle changes. Diet!!! The majority of
medical conditions stem from a bad diet. Certain foods help our bodies deal with
physical & mental stress better than others. Watch what you eat! Engage in
physical activity! Exercise can help us release tension & any other mental or
emotional frustrations we may be experiencing. Learn proper breathing! Most of
us only use 70% of our lung capacity. Over the centuries the human race has
become lazy & has forgotten how to breathe correctly. Accompanying improper
breathing, humanity as a whole has forgotten how to relax. Relaxation is a
forgotten technique, for many of us are too high strung & believe our life
situations are a matter of life & death. Many situations are not that serious,
unless someone is really dying!! Remember childhood? Do you remember what it
was like to play & frolic? Try to remember the purity & relaxation found in your
old recollections of youth. Relax!

Vibrations:-- STRESS --ARE
YOU STRESSED OUT?? IS YOUR ENERGY AT AN ALL-TIME LOW? Over 20 million Americans
suffer from health problems linked to chronic stress. Recent statistics show
that up to 95 percent of visits to healthcare professionals are stress related.
At best, it causes useless fatigue and energy loss, at worst, it is dangerous to
our health. The human body is designed to handle stressful situations, even
thrive on some of them. You can maintain a high degree of health to handle and
survive stress well. There are two ways to answer stress. First: good
nutrition, as stress increases, protein needs increase. Eat protein and
mineral-rich foods from whole grains, sea greens, seafood, soy foods, eggs and
sprouts. Also fresh fruit and vegetable juices at least 2 to 3 times a week. Add
raw green vegetables for magnesium and whole fruits and brown rice for your
B-vitamins. Reduce caffeine and soda and instead drink green tea for energy and
anti-oxidants. Drink lots of water. Second: a healthy lifestyle is also very
important. You have to unwind before you can unleash. Work addiction is the
health hazard of our time. Take a Break to build a nutritional program
and add exercise and rest to your life. Don’t Smoke. LIVE FOR TODAY!!!
LAUGH EVERY DAY. ------

Speaking Words of Wisdom
Stress is the word we hear everyday, for no matter if you’re rich or poor you
still have to deal with
STRESS.
What can we do to combat that daily feeling of stress and anxiety? You can start
by trying some simple relaxation techniques that are time honored and proven to
work. First take a deep breath and breathe in through the nose deep down into
the abdominal. Breathe in a calm state of mind and breathe out through the mouth
worry and frustration. Try using an affirmation to go along with it like,
“I feel calm and relaxed.” This is the most powerful technique you can do for
stress. Secondly, try adding some stress herbs. Adaptogenic herbs can control
cortisol levels and help you cope with the fight or flight response. Try herbs
like holy basil, Siberian ginseng, schisandra, astragalus, or a balanced herbal
formula like SUPREME CHI-FLOW by
WARRIOR MYSTIC FORMULAS.
Adding a B-complex and Vitamin C can benefit you greatly when it comes to
stress. There are many other nutrients that can also play an important role in
helping the body cope with stress. Water, greens (5GREENEST
by W.M.F),
essential oils and a
good
absorbable form of
protein made from hemp or rice. Chi-kung (energy work) can be very helpful and
has been used for thousands of years for stress reduction. Take time to unwind
the body and mind, and there you will find spiritual prosperity.
Knowledge applied is
wisdom…
Nik Notes: If
anything in your life could be instantly changed, how long would you deal with
discomfort? My point is that anything can change, from health to wealth. Your
reality is defined by your choices, so take every opportunity to improve it.
Those situations that cause a stress reaction can be diffused quickly if that is
your choice. Enjoy life! It passes by so fast you may not see it go by.

You are more
than your stress.
