The healthiest food is your best defense.

The foods we eat are the first line of defense from the negative effects of lifestyle stress, pollution, radiation and toxic chemicals. Yet so many processed foods are nutritionally empty. They leave us vulnerable to poor health and low energy. The good news is many essential nutrients recommended by experts to help protect our bodies are concentrated in Spirulina. It contains the most powerful combination of nutrients ever known in any grain, herb or food.

Words from us

Wayne’s World
All those interested in maintaining serious good health either have or should recognize the health benefits of green foods.  Why?  For good reason, green foods are one of the most concentrated sources of nutrition available.  Our friends at Green Kamut and Pure Planet consider green foods our answer to two of the primary deficiencies in human physiology.  First, most humans are too acidic, and green foods help create an alkaline environment in the body.  Secondly, green foods provide oxygen to the cells, and as we now know, a properly oxygenated body is the best defense against disease.  Green foods are full of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, amino acids, and some fiber plus they are loaded with active enzymes.  Now consider this; gram for gram most have more protein than beef, more beta-carotene than carrots, and more iron than spinach.  Wow!  Let us not forget green foods have an abundance of chlorophyll, which is chemically structured nearly identical to human hemoglobin. Green foods include vegetables and blue-green algae, spirulina, chlorella and cereal grasses (wheat, barley, oat, rye, and kamut). Call Stay Healthy! at 877-2494 to learn more and ask for the free cassette tape on green foods by David Sandoval.  This is an amazingly eye-opening, nutritional/educational tool that is exceptionally well done.
Thank you so much for your patronage. Stay Healthy!

Greens, I love them! I was having very high anxiety when a friend suggested that I try greens. Not only did I feel more calm and happy but my skin started to look better and began to glow. Also my puffiness and dark circles began to disappear.  The “Good News” is it doesn’t cost very much to take greens daily. With all the stress in life, we need all the help we can get. My favorite green combination is ½ ounce chlorella, 1-ounce nettle, 1-ounce barley grass, and 1-ounce wheat grass. Put a pinch of stevia, 8 ounces of apple juice, 4 cubes of ice, put it all in the blender, and out pops yum yum Greens. Enjoy!

Jenny's Jive: Why do we need green foods? Green foods are the best sources for chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is one of the most important chelates in nature. Chlorophyll is capable of channeling the energy of sunlight into chemical energy through the process of photosynthesis. In photosynthesis, the energy absorbed by chlorophyll transforms carbon dioxide & water into carbohydrates & oxygen. The chemical energy stored by photosynthesis in carbohydrates drives biochemical reactions in nearly all-living organisms. Chlorophyll possesses nearly identical chemical structure to hemoglobin, the body’s critical oxygen & iron carrying blood protein. The energy that chlorophyll produces is transferred into our cells  & blood when we consume live, fresh greens. Spirulina, chlorella, alfalfa, wheat & barley grasses are loaded with key vitamins, amino acids, minerals, essential fatty acids, & chlorophyll! Research indicates that green foods may help fight a number of conditions including high blood pressure, skin problems, asthma, & constipation. Green foods are beautiful  & they seem to fill the nutrient void. So gather up your greens at Stay Healthy!

Greens are the earth’s most powerful, complete source of nutrition on the planet. What are greens? Well the term “greens” is a general term for cereal grasses, some herbs, and algae’s that are mostly green in color. For example, wheat grass, barley grass, alfalfa, nettles, parsley, chlorella, etc. are all consider greens. “Greens” is a very loose term that can also apply to different types of salad mixes ranging from spinach, collard greens, to romaine lettuce and things like green beans, peas, etc. What do all these greens have in common? Chlorophyll is the green pigment that you see in any type of green plant life and every thing that is green on earth. What can this do for you? Well to tell you everything I would need a library, but the most important studies prove this powerful pigment to be one of the best detoxifiers for the body, closely similar to our very own blood (Hemoglobin). Researched and studied by many universities for cancer and HIV, this superpower of nature should be on everyone’s table and in your daily diet. Do you eat a lot of greens? Well most people do not so you are not alone, but what you can do is start to add the cereal grasses, herbs and algae to your diet. Just one serving of these powdered multi vitamin and mineral greens can equal many servings of green salads
or green vegetables. You are what you eat, drink, breathe, think and do!

Nik Notes: There are definite advantages to taking products containing green ingredients.  By adding greens to a formula you increase the bodies ability to absorb and utilize that product.  For instance, taking a multi-vitamin containing chlorella or spirulina increases the levels of vitamin and minerals present in the product. Unfortunately these amounts will not be represented on the label.  This absence of information is based on the fact that testing is rarely done to quantify these amounts, for it costs thousands of dollars to run this kind of test.  Although they are constantly tested for purity and quality the amounts of individual vitamins and minerals is not yet feasible.  By including greens in any formula the benefits are dramatically increased. For instance, greens are alkalizing, therefore pushing the pH of your system out of an acidic state.  This shift is very important because illness in the form of cancer and tumors thrive in an acidic environment, so if you adjust your pH higher into an alkaline state many health concerns will diminish.  These benefits are only attainable by including or buying a supplement with a green additive and using it consistently. Your diet influences your pH so it is important to continually consume greens and raw foods.
